You're viewing a sample data set "velocity.dx". This data is a velocity field in which the velocity vectors spiral outward in the xz plane, except near the center of the field. Near the center, the velocity has a strong positive y component.

There are two selector interactors in the Options panel which allow you to control how the streamlines are colored.

In the Mode menu, select Sequence. You'll see the frames appear slowly as Data Explorer computes each one. When the Execution indicator turns black, Data Explorer has finished executing and the animation begins. Terminate it at any time by changing the Mode selector. You can also change the behavior of the animation by selecting Faster, Slower, Loop, or Palindrome.
